Who we are

Konto is a free financial calculator site. This policy explains what data we handle and how.

What data do we collect?

Konto itself does not collect personal data. All calculations (mortgage, compound interest, retirement, currency, tax) run locally in your browser. They are never sent to our servers. We don't ask for email, name, or phone.

Cookies

We use two types of cookies:

1. Essential: your language preference (ES/EN) and your cookie banner decision.

2. Advertising: Google AdSense may store cookies to serve relevant ads. These activate only if you click 'Accept all'. If you click 'Reject', Google will only serve non-personalized ads.

Google AdSense and third parties

We display ads via Google AdSense. Google is a third-party vendor that uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of DoubleClick cookies for interest-based advertising at google.com/settings/ads.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are an EU resident, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. Since we collect no personal data, in practice this only applies to your cookie consent, which you can revoke by deleting cookies in your browser.

Anonymous traffic data

To understand which calculators are most used, we log anonymous events (calculator name, visitor language, timestamp). These do not include IPs, unique identifiers, or personal info.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll reflect it in the 'Last update' date above. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
